AlienRamp.com Return and Refund Policy

This policy outlines your rights and responsibilities when returning products purchased through AlienRamp.com. This policy operates in conjunction with our standard Terms and Conditions.

1. Right of Withdrawal (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)

As a Customer (consumer), you have the right to cancel your purchase and return the product within fourteen (14) days without providing a reason.

  • Period Begins: The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day you, or a third party designated by you (other than the carrier), take physical possession of the goods.

  • Notification: To exercise this right, you must inform us via an unequivocal statement (e.g., email or written letter) before the 14-day period has expired.

2. Return Conditions and Customer Responsibility

Following your notification, you have an additional 14 days to physically return the goods to our designated warehouse.

  • Product Condition: The product must be returned in its original condition, unused, and undamaged. We strongly recommend returning the product in its original packaging.

  • Inspection & Testing: You may inspect and "test" the product only to the extent necessary to establish its nature and characteristics (similar to how you would inspect a product in a physical store).

  • Diminished Value: If the product is returned used (e.g., marks on the ramps from tires/tracks), damaged, or incomplete, AlienRamp.com reserves the right to deduct the loss in value from your refund. Given the specialized nature of our heavy-duty ramps, use for loading vehicles typically results in a significant reduction in resale value.

  • Risk During Return: The risk of loss, theft, or damage during the return transport is entirely borne by the Customer. We strongly advise using a tracked and fully insured freight service.

3. Return Shipping and Costs

  • Direct Costs: The Customer is responsible for all direct costs associated with the return shipment.

  • Estimate of Costs: Due to the exceptional size and weight of our ramps, return shipping costs via freight carriers can be substantial (potentially ranging from €100 to €500+ depending on location and weight).

  • Return Address: Goods must be returned to our warehouse. Please contact us for the specific return address and RMA instructions before shipping.

4. Refunds

  • Timeline: We will process your refund within 14 days after we receive the goods or once you provide undeniable proof of return.

  • Refund Amount: We will refund the purchase price and the cost of our standard (cheapest) outbound shipping. We will not refund additional costs for premium/expedited shipping or any import duties/taxes paid to local authorities for non-EU orders.

  • Deductions: We reserve the right to deduct:

    1. Diminished value (due to use or damage).

    2. Outstanding fees as per Article 2.4 of our Terms & Conditions.

  • Method: Refunds are issued via the original payment method.

5. Exclusions from the Right of Withdrawal

The Right of Withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Custom-made or bespoke ramps manufactured to your specific dimensions or load requirements.

  • Products clearly personalized or modified at the Customer's request.

  • Business-to-Business (B2B) transactions (unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing).

6. Warranty and Defective Products

This policy applies to "change of mind" returns. If a product is defective or fails to meet the specifications:

  • Claims must be filed under our 24-month Guarantee (as per Article 6 of our Terms and Conditions).

  • Please contact us within 48 hours of discovering a defect.
