Shipping Policy

AlienRamp.com Shipping Policy

This policy governs the shipment, delivery, and transfer of risk for products purchased through AlienRamp.com. This policy operates in conjunction with our Terms and Conditions.

1. Shipping Methods, Costs, and Taxes

1.1 Delivery Term (DAP) All international orders are shipped Delivered At Place (DAP) (Incoterms 2020). The Company arranges and pays for the freight carriage to the Customer’s specified delivery address.

1.2 Import Duties and Taxes (Non-EU Countries) For deliveries to countries outside the European Union (including, but not limited to, the United States, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates and Switzerland):

  • The Customer is the importer of record. * The shipping costs paid at checkout exclude local VAT, import duties, customs fees, and administrative handling charges levied by the destination country.

  • These additional charges must be paid by the Customer directly to the carrier or local authorities before or upon delivery.

  • Refusal to pay these fees will result in the shipment being returned or abandoned. Any costs incurred (including return freight) will be deducted from the Customer's refund.

1.3 Shipping Costs Calculation Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on:

  • Final dimensions and weight of the product (specifically for heavy-duty load capacities).

  • The delivery destination and accessibility.

  • The selected service level.

2. Processing and Delivery Times

2.1 Order Processing Orders are processed and prepared for shipment only after full payment has been confirmed. Processing times are indicative and depend on stock availability and production schedules for specialized ramps.

2.2 Indicative Delivery Times Delivery dates are estimates only. AlienRamp.com is not liable for delays caused by third-party carriers, customs clearance procedures, or Force Majeure. Delay in delivery does not entitle the Customer to compensation, discounts, or the right to terminate the agreement.

3. Transfer of Risk and Ownership

3.1 Contractual Transfer of Risk Notwithstanding the DAP delivery term regarding freight payment, the contractual risk of loss, theft, or damage transfers to the Customer at the moment the goods are collected by the carrier from the Company’s warehouse (FCA principles applied to risk).

3.2 Insurance As the risk transfers upon collection, the Customer is responsible for any additional transport insurance if desired.

4. Inspection and Damage Claims

4.1 Immediate Visual Inspection Due to the heavy-duty nature of our products, the Customer must:

  1. Thoroughly inspect the packaging and the product immediately upon arrival for signs of damage (crushing, punctures, moisture).

  2. Explicitly note any damage on the carrier’s Proof of Delivery (POD) or freight bill before signing. Phrases like "Subject to inspection" are not legally binding; damage must be described (e.g., "Packaging torn, ramp scratched").

4.2 Hidden Damage Any damage discovered after unpacking must be reported to AlienRamp.com in writing within 48 hours of delivery, including high-resolution photos.

4.3 Carrier Claims All claims for transit damage must be initiated by the Customer against the carrier, as the risk resides with the Customer during transport. AlienRamp.com will provide reasonable assistance and documentation to support such claims.

5. Delivery Requirements and Accessibility

5.1 Unloading Responsibility The Customer is responsible for ensuring that the delivery location is accessible by heavy-duty vehicles (e.g., large trucks/trailers).

5.2 Additional Fees The Customer must provide adequate means for unloading (e.g., forklift if required). If a delivery fails due to restricted access, lack of unloading equipment, or the Customer's absence, all redelivery and storage fees will be charged to the Customer.
