There are two ways to secure the ramp: 1) The ramp has four adjustable feet, two in the front, two in the back. After rolling it into the vehicle, you can unscrew these so the ramp and the bike sit on these feet. Then you secure the bike to the vehicle with straps, in an X pattern. 2) You can purchase the front locking bumper bar that fixes your Alien Ramp rock-solid against the front wall (bulkhead) of your vehicle.
