To accommodate 2 unites side by side, you will need a loading space of around 1450mm/57" width.

The tailgate needs to be strong enough to take the weight of your bike. Most tailgates will take up to 300kg/660lbs of weight but you should check the specs of your own vehicle or ask a dealer.

There are two ways to secure the ramp:
1) The ramp has four adjustable feet, two in the front, two in the back. After rolling it into the vehicle, you can unscrew these so the ramp and the bike sit on these feet. Then you secure the bike to the vehicle with straps, in an X pattern.
2) You can purchase a receiver bar that stays permanently attached to the vehicle using turnbuckles or you can bolt it in. It has holes in it and the ramp has a pair of pins that lock into the holes. The ramp is secured to this bar. Then again, you strap the bike to the vehicle, with two straps only - left and right.
